We Are Flowfeel Arts

Jessica Hardy and Brent Kado founded Flowfeel Films in 2001 in Goshen, Indiana. The idea began as a creative concept in the early days of websites and the wonders of internet. Eventually it became the name for their film company.

Flowfeel Films has produced three feature comedy films. They also produce digital shorts, commercials, and music videos. Flowfeel Films attempts to produce material that holds a mirror up to our society while using comedy to explore the delicate emotions involved in the human condition. Themes explored have been idealization, competition, gender bias, societal pressures, politics, and cognitive dissonance.

After completing three feature comedy films with Chicago's funniest talents (Off the Cuff, Welcome to Gentle Waters) in the mid and late 2000's they ventured to Los Angeles to pursue more creative projects. There they signed a management contract with Collab Studios to launch Flowfeel Digital-short form digital content and other television concepts.

Flowfeel Films has recently began to work in the documentary genre. In 2017 Flowfeel Films was executive producer on Festival: A Documentary which screened at various film festivals top-level film festivals. They have been under contract with  Indigo Films  to pitch a crime docuseries based on a true story  near their hometown in Northern Indiana.

In 2010 they also founded the Chicago Comedy Film Festival  with the personal intent to help other independent filmmakers display their work and get distribution. Flowfeel Arts is the umbrella for their festivals and contests: Chicago Comedy Film Festival, Great American Script Contest, and Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival.

In 2024 Flowfeel Arts will transition to a modern development and management company with the intent to carefully craft actor and creator careers.

They currently split time between Los Angeles and the Midwest working on creative projects and teaching. Hardy teaches improv to youth and adults. Kado is an adjunct faculty instructor for Columbia College Chicago.
