We pride ourselves in being legit and transparent fests. We KNOW there are countless scammy fests and contests out there, and we have every intention of being a positive and helpful force in the entertainment industry!

So, it's important to explain that FilmFreeway is the only decent submission platform around these days. With no real competition, and a GLUT of fests/contests (** 14,631 as of today **), our fest's submissions and the funds we receive to keep operating, are at the mercy of the FilmFreeway algorithm. This occasionally means opening up new festivals that work inside another or changing submission/notification dates to work better within the algorithm. Nothing nefarious, just platform SEO-ish things.
